Family and Friends in the NE area of the United States is “holding its breath” when going outside. They are inundated with Heavy Smoke from a conglomeration of Wildfires in Southern Quebec that are “raining” down on New York State, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont and more.

Not just Quebec. Alberta are on fire. Nova Scotia is burning so bad that Time Square in New York is enveloped in smoke. Funny how countries just catch on fire, all over. Funny how 100's of food processing plants in the US are blowing up or burning down. Funny how highly toxic train cars suddenly derail and crash and burn up, almost one a day.

the fact that the media is blaming higher temperatures for the fires in NS is ridiculous. It was the coldest April/May I could remember, with several frost warnings in May. It was unusually dry in that period. Then we get one weekend with temperatures 20-22 C and the fires started immediately. The authorities got to practice their emergency messaging system and pushing people around. I'm sure lots of land will now become available for development. We've had nearly a week of rain so the fires have been out.
