NOTICE FOR PUBLIC CONCERN

OUR HOME IS BEING JUDGED
OUR RESPONSE: TEHILLIM and TESHUVA and TZNIUS

(IsraelNN.com) KABBALIST WARNS OF WAR
"Stock your homes with water, candles, and a two week supply of food,"
the elder Kabbalist, Rabbi Eliahu Leon Levi, told a gathering at the Kotel this evening.
"War is imminent, and this time, the enemy has missiles far more powerful than the rockets of the Hizballah," he said.

"Whoever does not take precautions and stock up with food will be neglecting the mitzvah of carefully guarding one’s life."

The Rabbi and students were gathered at the Kotel for a special Rosh Chodesh prayer. "In the month of Nisan, we were redeemed in the past, and in the month of Nisan, we will be redeemed now," he said. "This time, the army of Israel will have the upper hand, and it will bring honor to the Nation of Israel by obliterating our enemies."

Rabbi Levy said that everyone should recite TEHILLIM and work on repentance.
He criticized the yeshiva world for not sending groups of top students to kibbitzim and non-religious neighborhoods to bring them closer to Torah. "If a fire breaks out amongst the weeds, it spreads to the haystacks as well," he warned, implying that when misfortune falls, both the wicked and righteous are engulfed in the flames.

He also lamented over the plague of immodesty in the Holy Land,
saying it was the prime cause of the dangerous decree hanging over our heads.

A GUEST BLOGGER SHARES . . .

Hi Neshama, I love your name...

I was born in Israel and at the age of 8-9, my parents moved to Canada and then we grew up in NY. As I grew into adulthood, Israel was a distance memory and a place to visit from time to time. The visits became less frequent and for a space of 10 years, I didn't bother going to Israel - till the cursed disengagement. Today I realize that thru the act of fighting for the land and its people
it has earned me my return home.

To be accepted to live in Eretz Israel is a tremendeous zechut. I did not plan to return to Israel, as far as I was concerned, I thought like most people "I'll live in NY till Moshiach brings us to Eretz Israel on HaShem's wings". But we know that plans and schedules are nonexistant but at the time, I honestly felt this way...

When I was sent to Kever Rochel Imenu, a'h, the mission was very successful, Chasdei HaShem. And when I was sent a second time to an undisclosed location, this too was successful. I knew about the Chut HaMeshulash (triangle string) and had a very strong feeling that I'll be sent within a short time to a 3rd place - I never thought it would be permanent. It was Motzei Shabbat,
beginning of Parshat Beshalach, Haftara Shira Devorah HaNevia, a'h and the Malach gave me instructions to go to Eretz Israel, one way. Since I go to the Ohel HaKadosh of the Lubavitch Rebbe, zt'l, weekly, I replied that I must first go to the Ohel HaKadosh of the Rebbe and ask him.

When I awoke, I didn't do anything dramatic. I thought about the dream but the day continued regular. Sunday turned into Monday and by Monday night, I was feeling a tremendeous urge to go to the Ohel HaKadosh. When I got there, I was crying and weeping and it felt more like good bye than the confusion I felt inside. I did the Igrat Kodesh and the Rebbe's answer was "may her flight be kosher and successful and prisat shalom to the chavura".

When I returned home, I went to sleep. The following morning, I didn't send the kids to school.
I called the travel agent (10 am) and he found flight tickets for same day, in 8 hours. I packed up minimally, said goodbye to NY and the kids and I got on the plane 6 pm. The kids weren't really sure what the plan is but they were excited to go to Eretz Israel. On the flight, my son said to me 'Ima, I pray that this is the last airplane flight we will ever need to be on' and I started crying because I felt the same way.

THAT'S IT... THE REST IS HISTORY
AND NONE OF US REMEMBER OUR PREVIOUS LIFE IN AMERICA.
WE ARE HOME IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.

My suggestion to those that are feeling the constant urge to come home - forget all materialistic possessions - the house, table, bed, or sofa can be the Satan, tying you down and not letting you listen to the Divine Spirit to come home. Don't let money (the authentic golden calf-satan) control you.

A friend of ours lives in NY and recently came to Eretz Israel. They asked me how I decided to make Aliya and said "admat kodesh accepted me back, Chasdei HaShem". They were to return to NY after a few days and called me 2 weeks later to tell me they decided to stay in Israel and tore up the return ticket. Nothing in NY (furniture, job, etc.) is greater than returning to admat kodesh.
The more you will think about the logistics of making Aliya, the more you will be delayed.

COME HOME
call the travel agent and ask him for the next flight available
and get on HaShem's wings.

HaShem gave you the thought, the doing, the effort - He'll never leave you.
Have complete Emunah in our Abba.

~ I COULDN'T PASS UP THE OPPORTUNITY ~

WELCOME LISA!

Four years ago, I began thinking about making aliyah - but I was too afraid
to go single, without friends, a place to live,a job, etc.

At about the same time, an aquaintance who had made aliyah contacted me
(we hardly ever spoke) to say hello. She mentioned that she was moving into her own
apartment and that her roomates were looking for a replacement . I began
researching employment opportunities and was offered a position via telephone!

With a place to live and a job, I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
However, it wasn't a smooth transition - I wasn't happy at the
job, I was lonely without my friends, etc.

Three years later, I am happily I am happily married,
a mother of a beautiful 15 month old, with a terrific job!

Aliyah isn't easy, but if its in your soul then you persevere, pray, and it is
worth it! Life is incredibly more meaningful living in Israel then abroad.

THANK YOU LISA FOR SHARING YOUR SUCCESSFUL ADVENTURE IN GOING HOME!

THE SHADOW OF MASHIACH'S FEET BENEATH THE DOOR

I am going home.
Many are leaving now and that is very good, but I feel we should get the message out there as much as possible. There are many other blogs that should carry this message. I have known for sometime this was coming (not the "sign") but an Exodus.

There are many that won't take heed though, and that is very, very, sad.
I can smell the brimestone in the air, and see the shadow of Mashiach's feet beneath the door. And I refuse to be talked out of it. I have dreamed of this day all my life, and now it is here, staring me and us in the face.

Walk away from this?.............Not me.

A SUMMER WAR?!!?

In Tzfas they are preparing for a possible war. Pages and Pages of "Preparedness" and "Emergency Preparations" have been made available by the Tzfat-Line to their group members (to join, send an email to: tzfatline@aol.com).

And yesterday, there were "neighborhood rocket-attack drills" all over of the country.

Yes, Israel is preparing for another possible war.

BUT REMEMBER WHAT THE LUBAVITCHER REBBE SAID, "THERE IS NO SAFER PLACE IN THE WORLD"!

So, that means I would still go to Eretz HaKodesh because Hashem watches over her from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

We need more of the brave and daring to inspire and encourage others. If you are going, tell your story.

Send it to habayitah@gmail.com and I will publish it online.

Nava, Welcome!

You ask why don't I come? You are so right.

I am in the process now. B"H my new passport is waiting for me to pick it up tomorrow.

But, tell us more about how you arrived at your decision to pick up and fly home and what encouragement do you give those still deciding. You can send it to me at habayitah@gmail.com and I'll post it with your link.

AM I ENVIOUS!

Well, my friend recently went to Israel to find herself an apartment. After about 6 or so weeks, on the night before her flight back to the States, she finalized the contract for her new home in Eretz HaKodesh. She was up til the wee hours.

Now she's sorting, packing, calling movers, closing up so many loose ends. We talk a few times daily to confer on the fine points, and to let me know each hurdle she gets over.

Do I need to say that I am envious?
You bet I am.

Welcome to Going Home

INSPIRATION

After following the inspiring Countdown to Redemption blog, I decided to create an "open house" where everyone who has made the exciting commitment to finally return to Eretz HaKodesh, to the Land that Hashem bequeathed to us, where He watches over constantly, will share their stories with us. It is my fervent desire that your inspiring stories will give chizuk, encouragement to others to move past the thinking about it, and proceed to the planning stage, and finally a final date for Going Home.

Please share your struggles, your doubts, and how you made your decision so we can inspire more and more of Hashem's chosen to do the same.
