TO THE JPOST EDITORS:
You must stop using the word “stampede”!
The victims were not cattle.
They were victims of those who would not let them proceed!
Can one dare say murder?
The vast and disgraceful ignorance of those were sent there to prepare and manage the knowingly huge crowds of believers failed miserably!
Failed to the tune of manslaughter, while watching the faces and voices begging to be let thru, to continue their way ....
The Jerusalem Post must correct their gross ineptitude.
JUST WHAT ARE THE “POLICE" DOING HERE? AND WHY?
I had a post about donating to an organization to aid the families of the victims, but had to delete it because on their website they used the word “stampede” and had several videos of horrific scenes.
THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO SOLICIT FUNDS.
ONE MUST HAVE RACHMONOS ON THE VIEWERS.
IT IS NOT THE TORAH WAY TO SHOW HUMAN DISASTER ON THIS LEVEL.

I personally don't consider the word "stampede" inappropriate.
It has been used often for humans.
Look at Wikipedia's list
to each his own
I will agree, though, that as Tomer Devorah pointed out, a "crush" is more accurate.
1 plus 1 = 2
that means you will also agree with Myrtle
Oh, and lets add to that the “tramplings” of Reb Dov
