PROTEST AT ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN BEIT SHEMESH

DO THEY LOOK DANGEROUS?

Hundreds of protesters traveled to the Route 38, the new Beit Shemesh road area, to protest the ongoing construction at an archeological site, to protest the desecration of kevarim.

The situation turned ugly as police used “unjustifiable force” according to participants.

The Admor of Khal Chassidim was among those who sustained blows from police.

The protesters overran the construction site and refused to leave. They want to stop the road expansion claiming it is at the expense of kevarim.

Was an Archaeological Assessment made to determine if there are Kevarim?

WAS IT NECESSARY TO  USE “unjustifiable force”
(by Israeli and Arab/Druse Police?)
