With Netanyahu as PM the Israelis will not make Teshuva
Why the Man Who Helped Put Netanyahu in Power Is Now Taking Him Down. Likud’s rising star, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his loyal right-hand man were inseparable in the 1990s. But Avigdor Lieberman’s goal was always to be the power behind the throne. An interesting take by haaretz.
"Avigdor Lieberman, original name Evet Lvovich Lieberman, Lieberman also spelled Liberman, (born June 5, 1958, Kishinyov, Moldavia, U.S.S.R. [now Chișinău, Moldova]), Israeli politician, leader of the nationalist right-wing political party Yisrael Beiteinu, who served as Israel’s foreign minister (2009–12; 2013–15) and defense minister (2016–18).” britannica

Was this in the plan all along?

In the end, everything is really from Hashem.
Liberman should never have been in any important position in the government. He is a soneh Torah, no different than Lapid. We need to pray that somehow this will lead to coming of MBY to herald in the Geulah. How, we just don't know. There is a large segment of Jews in EY who are completely ignorant of Judaism, that you begin to wonder if they're really Jews; how can we expect them to do teshuvah. we just need to put our total emunah and bitachon in HaKadosh Baruch Hu!
