It simply breaks your heart. At the same time, what a neis that the genocidal army of evil was not able to penetrate the saferoom door with their bullets.

I thought I heard them say that the beasts left the babies, either as part of a trap for the soldiers or …… Hashem intervened.

What I mean is that they shot at the door, but the bullets didn't penetrate to reach the babies. after that, perhaps they used them as a trap. We'll never know. anyway, they're dead.
