Tehillim That Yaakov Avinu Recited

 Preparing for Shabbos Vayeira, gathering shiurim to post on the blog, I came across the following.

When saying Tehillim, I like a nice size page, with a clear and inviting font. And this Sefer was just that. And the following page spoke about Yaakov Avinu and his reciting Tehillim

Yaakov Avinu while working for Laban, would recite Tehillim 120 to 134 the Shir HaMaalos.

So I decided that I would say the same.

When reading the ‘notes’ at the bottom of the page for Tehilla 120 I read something very interesting

"The Midrash says that Yaakov recited these 15 Songs of Ascents 

(corresponding to the fifteen years that all three forefathers were alive.

"Although these were hard times for Yaakov, nevertheless, 

he saw that things would improve in the future, 

and he thus sang (joyous) songs."
