Around 60,000 people were already evacuated from the North and this is why the fight against Hezbollah has intensified. They want to return home safely and our medinat has promised that they will. This is not some new development. No one is emptying the North, chas v'shalom. I live in the North. But these families who have been sitting hotels and vacation apartments do need help and they need to go home.

The Enemy is now Blind or Lame. This is when we must attack as King David did the same against the Jebusites in Yerushalayim.

Shmuel Bet 5

ח וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, כָּל-מַכֵּה יְבֻסִי וְיִגַּע בַּצִּנּוֹר, וְאֶת-הַפִּסְחִים וְאֶת-הַעִוְרִים, שנאו שְׂנוּאֵי נֶפֶשׁ דָּוִד; עַל-כֵּן, יֹאמְרוּ, עִוֵּר וּפִסֵּחַ, לֹא יָבוֹא אֶל-הַבָּיִת. 8 And David said on that day: 'Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites, and getteth up to the gutter, and [taketh away] the lame and the blind, that are hated of David's soul--.' Wherefore they say: 'There are the blind and the lame; he cannot come into the house.'

The Messiah cannot come until the Blind and the Lame were flown back to Tehran for Emergency surgery, just as David could not enter Yerushalayim until they had been removed from the City. In the case of David, the blind and the lame were idolaters. In our case they are the top murderers.

The "gutter" in this verse is Warren's Shaft found in the city of David by Captain Charles Warren in 1867. 20 years later as the Chief of Police of Scotland Yard, Capn Warren failed to solve the case of Jack the Ripper. But G-d blessed him, 20 yrs before, to find the gutter through which David and Joav entered Yerushalayim. You win some and you lose some.
