I have been wonder8ng about this very subject. 8n all the books I have been reading over the 馃サ summer, the most I’ve gathered are barley bread (pita type slapped on the inside of ovens), wheat and solet, lentil stew/porridge, a type of cheese, olive oil, wine, dates, figs, rimonim. And of course everyone carried a water pouch. So I was happy to find this.
