Anything, but anything, to turn attention away from the fact that there is no explanation for how thousands of Jews could be slaughtered by hundreds of executioners in 22 communities over 8 hours without one helicopter or jet in the skies. The executioners had to invade and flee across several kilometers of wide open land and could have been easily mowed down.  

Don't mind that! Support the soldiers!!  Unity!!!
That's the big propaganda campaign, because they know people will rally around it and stop focusing on the betrayal.
