2 rockets launched towards Shaked, according to video posted by Samaria terrorists. IDF finds rockets' remains.
A group of terrorists from the Jenin area posted a video online today (Monday) in which they claimed to have launched two rockets at the Israeli community of Shaked in northern Samaria. The terrorists claimed to belong to the Al-Ayyash Battalion.
The IDF later stated that soldiers located two tripods and two improvised rockets remnants adjacent to the community of Shaked. Security forces and explosive ordnance disposal personnel are at the scene to examine the presence of explosives. The launchers and tripods will be transferred to security forces for further processing. The rockets did not pose a threat to civilians.
Yesterday, the remains of a homemade rocket were found in the community of Ram-On in northern Israel. The rocket had no explosive warhead and was found to have been launched from the Jenin area about two weeks ago.
At that time, two failed rocket launches were detected. One rocket landed just five meters from the launch site, while the other rocket landed 80 meters away.
