Jerusalem, 70 CE: The soldiers of the Roman legion breach the walls and invade Jerusalem. A brutal battle takes place in the streets of Jerusalem. Thousands of Jews are hiding underground in the drainage channel that runs under the main street.
Arrowheads, rebellion coins and oil candles from the channel that was used for hiding - these are just some of the many findings discovered in the archaeological experience in the Emek Zurim National Park, that are evidence of the last moments of the city on the eve of the destruction.
The dramatic findings were discovered by visitors who participated in the archaeological experience, and we invite you to join and take part in uncovering the history of Jerusalem. For details: https://bit.ly/3K8Dp15
