Civil unrest in Israel is getting out of control
After more weeks of protest, Jay Shapiro thinks that the anti-judicial reform protest leaders have forgotten the purpose of demonstrating against change and have expanded the protests to unreasonable levels. In the meantime, they are widely supported and anyone who opposes their opinion is silenced or heavily criticized. Is the intensity of this protest justified? Isn't this an exception to logic? In response to the question 'What do you think about the manner in which the Israeli police are working to disperse the demonstrations and protests in recent days', 33% answered that the police use less force than necessary compared to 29% who claimed that more force is used than necessary. Another 28% believe that force is used as required. The division of the answers shows that 56% of the opposition voters think that the police use too much force and 57% of the coalition voters say that the police use less force than necessary.
