Special News Report
A short while ago the Itamar bus was shot on in the village of Huwarah.
A number of our community residents were on the bus. Eight bullets struck the bus, thank G-d, nobody was hurt since the bus was bulletproof, but damage was done to the bus.
Unfortunately, terrorism continues to rage in our area. We will never let terrorism win – nothing will weaken our grip on our homeland. We will continue to build and thrive in the heartland of Israel Amen! https://touritamarsupportisrael.com/special-news-report/#comment-18376
Huwara has long been a flashpoint in the West Bank, thanks to a main thoroughfare running through the town also being used regularly by Israelis to travel to and from settlements. There are plans to build a bypass road for settlers to avoid having to travel through the town, but work on this has dragged on for years.During the past year, Palestinian gunmen have repeatedly targeted military posts, troops operating along the West Bank security barrier, Israeli settlements and civilians on the roads. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israeli-bus-comes-under-fire-in-huwara-none-hurt/
