NEW: ...CLOSING SUKKOT MARKETS …BANNED MIKVAOT BEFORE YOM KIPPUR……SO PLEASE BAN THOSE PROTESTS!

BAN PROTESTS

MIKI ZOHAR:  “I think that the most important thing right now is to impose harsher punishments – higher fines, criminal penalties – for those who break the law, including imprisonment. There’s no other way,” he told Reshet Kan Bet, singling out the ongoing demonstrations outside the Prime Minister’s Jerusalem Residence on Balfour Street for condemnation. “These protests are bringing destruction upon us,” he insisted. “We have no choice but to impose harsher penalties.”

Elaborating on his intent, Zohar stressed that “these harsher punishments must be applied across the board. We have to explain to people – including the Prime Minister’s adviser – that we need to adhere to the regulations,” he said, referring to an incident that occurred this Sunday night when one of Netanyahu’s advisers, Topaz Luk, was spotted in the crowd on Balfour Street, documenting the protest, when he was supposed to be in quarantine.

When asked if he was actually advocating for the Prime Minister’s adviser to be arrested and put in jail, Zohar responded, “You’re not focusing on the main point I’m making. I’m trying to stress something very basic – that all of us need to obey the law.”

In another interview, this time on Radio 103 FM, Zohar explained why he believes that a parallel must be drawn between the guidelines imposed on synagogues and those applying to demonstrations: “There’s no way we can explain to the general public how it is that thousands of protesters can crowd together in one place, but only a very limited number of people are permitted to come together to pray.” He added that he is “certain that there is mass contagion at these protests.”

MEANWHILE HARSHER RESTRICTIONS ARE IN THE WORKS

According to the report, the new lockdown plan would include the total closure of synagogues, including on Yom Kippur, and a ban on street gatherings during Yom Kippur and the Sukkot holiday. Mikvas (ritual baths) would also be banned on the eve of Yom Kippur.

In addition, the new plan would severely limit the number of businesses allowed to operate, cutting the private sector down to 50% of its operational capacity.

Sukkot markets, which sell the Four Species for the Sukkot holiday, would be also be closed.

Last week, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) vowed that markets for the Four Species would be designated as 'essential businesses', allowing them to remain open despite the lockdown.

Ahead of the Coronavirus Cabinet's deliberation Tuesday, Prof. Gamzu said that if the cabinet does decide to tighten the lockdown, it should do so as quickly as possible.

“If it is decided to intensify [the lockdown] we must carry out all the restrictions together, not piecemeal,” said Gamzu. “And we must impose the new restrictions as soon as possible.”

G'mar Chatimah Tovah to you & yours and Klal Yisrael!

This guy needs to change his name and instead start learning the real 'Zohar'. The chutzpah to want to punish harshly Jews who only want to fulfill the mitzvot on the Yomim Noraim. The world has gone mad, r'l.
All those who feel they caught the virus have to do is take the Hydroxychloroquin cocktail and and they will be good as new, as long as they it within the first five days of not feeling well. The ptb's do not want that and that is why this evil mageifah is continuing, because they want to vaccinate the people, r'l. They want to control and who knows what they plan to put in it. There is a medication and treatment but it is not being allowed or promoted to the public to use this treatment, along with some other helpful treatments; this is the 'sick' reality of it all.
