Continuing the Legacy of Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi ztl

Continuing the Legacy of our Friend

Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi ztl

Who was killed in a terrorist attack in the Old City of Jerusalem, when he went down to save a family who had passed under his house.

On Sukkot five years ago, the Benita family walked from the Nablus Gate toward the Western Wall when a terrorist attacked and murdered Aharon Benita. His wife, Adele, shouted and called for help. The attack took place on Hagai Street under the Wittenberg house, the house of the late Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi.

Rabbi Nehemiah Lavie came out in defense of Aaron Benita and the family after a terrorist stabbed him with severe wounds that led to his death. Rabbi Nehemiah Lavie made a decision to go down to the street and reach out for help, fought a terrorist and after a hard fight that also included severe stab wounds to his body, Rabbi Nehemiah Lavie was murdered.

The terrorist also tried to harm the security forces present at the scene. A YSM force neutralized him and his death was determined on the spot.

Thanks to the struggle of Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi, the lives of Adele and her two children were saved. Rabbi Lavi has become a symbol of heroism throughout Jerusalem.

Rabbi Nehemiah gave his life for the salvation of Jewish life and for the building of Jerusalem, and today we are launching a campaign to continue his legacy.

Add a building in Jerusalem and add free love in the corner of Nehemiah to the security forces and moves in Jerusalem - on the streets of the Old City.

Together we will strengthen the security forces and the warriors in the Old City and thus perpetuate Rabbi Nehemiah in his heroism, in his free love, without limit.
