Prof. Itamar Grotto: It was a mistake to reopen schools on September 1

The deputy director-general of the Health Ministry, Prof. Itamar Grotto, told Galei Tzahal this morning that it was a mistake to reopen the education system on September 1.

"I don't blame only the politicians for this," he noted. "Many experts, including myself, thought that we could allow schools to resume on-site teaching."

Teachers' Union head: Govt is destroying education system

Teachers' Union head Yaffa Ben David for imposing regulations that she states will destroy the education system.

"If you lose the public's trust, that will be a real catastrophe," she told the Knesset Channel. "Someone has to take responsibility for what is going on here."
