Rabbi Weissman – Gaza Border vs. Meron

Police announce: Meron closed until after Lag Baomer

“The police are calling on the public not to attempt to reach the village or the gravesite, police roadblocks on the roads leading to the village will not allow unauthorized individuals to pass. In the fields and forests surrounding the village, Border Police officers are deployed with special surveillance equipment and all-terrain vehicles to prevent attempts to reach the site on foot.”

Who wants to bet thousands of Chassidim could get through these defenses with paragliders, pickup trucks, and on foot, plus a bulldozer, and light fires on the mountain for 8 hours, without any police response?

Ah, but this time they actually want to keep them out...

It's incredible how many well-meaning but extremely foolish soldiers are getting maimed and killed in "friendly fire" incidents, "operational mistakes", and other head-scratching disasters.

Of course, each time this happens the criminals promise to investigate themselves and reassure the slave population that they are doing the very best they can, and will continue to improve.

I believe them.

By the way, if both sides of a staged conflict, which is really a controlled demolition, are being funded and orchestrated by the same outside entities, and collaborating on a larger agenda, does that make EVERY casualty a friendly fire incident?

Maybe we need to reexamine who we call friends.

Correction: Yesterday's article mistakenly referred to Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef as Yitzchak Yosef's grandfather, when he is actually his father. There are not two of each.
