It doesn't matter if we have the exact details of this deal. And it doesn't matter if the hostages still with Hamas are be released tomorrow. Hamas will continue to try to wipe Israel out from the face of the earth. How many more times do we have to go through this until we realize that this is not going to change?
How do we know that Hamas will always want to destroy us?
1. Hamas says so.
2. Hamas still refuses to recognize the State of Israel.
3. Look at their dream map of a made-up state of Palestine, embedded within Hamas's symbol. They do not just want Gaza. They do not just want Judea and Samaria, including Jerusalem. They want Be'er Sheva, Haifa, aand Tel Aviv.
Maybe when Major General Daniel Gerry claims "Gaza is one of the world's most difficult fighting arenas" and "even after Rafah will be terror" he is just making excuses for the failure. "This is a super-duper analysis and more Israelis should read this!
Especially realistic is that never-ending (graphic of) circle/cycle of Hamas tenacity and Israeli stubborn weakness. They are too close to the forest to even see the trees while wearing conceptzia-glasses. Unfortunately what you wrote reads like prophecy, in light of the declaration of the Galilee communities withdrawing from the greater State of (lunacy) Israel."

What they need are generals like Gen. Ofer Winter (TomerDevorah blog), then the wars would be fought k'fi Halacha and be the real Jewish warriors they are and not forfeit their holy lives in vain, because there would not be the number of casualties on our side as they are at present. Victory is the name of the game and not worrying about the amaleik soneh.
