As of October 7, 2023, according to official numbers, 765 IDF soldiers have been killed since October 7 and over 5148 wounded. Screenshot below, and see here for updated official numbers. This includes so many of our finest fighters that it's fair to suspect they are being targeted by the same people who let Hamas romp around for 8+ hours.
Please keep in mind when considering official numbers that the same regime claimed there were exactly zero cases of flu in 2020. See here. So if you suspect they would downplay the numbers for propaganda purposes, no one can accuse you of being unreasonable.
In the last four days alone, 13 soldiers have been killed and 111 more wounded. See below for the screenshot from October 22.
Also note that "lightly wounded" often means loss of a digit or other disfigurement. That's why so many "lightly wounded" soldiers get hospitalized. "Moderately wounded" means loss of limb or severe disfigurement. "Severely wounded" means their life hangs by a thread. See here and screenshot below.
Now let's do a little math. According to more official numbers, the IDF has approximately 600,000 personnel, including active personnel and reserves.
Although estimates vary, according to official data from 2014, approximately 17% of IDF personnel are in combat units.
If these numbers are true or reasonably close for today, that would mean that nearly 6% of combat troops have been wounded or killed since October 7, 2023.
17% of 634,500 total IDF personnel = 107,865.
5789 wounded and killed / 107865 = 5.5%.
This does not include all the soldiers who are traumatized and otherwise harmed from their experiences.

The best and brightest Jewish soldiers are being decimated, and it's by design so we can't fight back when the slavery/shmad agenda reaches a tipping point. Keep cheering your own destruction, keep supporting the Erev Rav, and get angry at me for calling it what it is.

The sad reality is that many of the Dati Leumi boys volunteer for the combat units as well, believing that is the ultimate way to serve the country. Also, There has been a phenomenon going on since the 1990's where in certain cities kids of the more affluent secular families all of a sudden develop mental problems at 16 and get exemptions from the army. I have heard the number is as high as 30%, maybe even higher. They don't want to sacrifice their sons but the Dati Leumi community once again comes running to do the bidding of the state.
This is when the SUPREME COURT should clamp down on them!

To Anon.: This sadly reminds us of how the Erev Rav dealt with the North African and Sephardic communities at the start of the State, by stealing their
children for experiments or adoption because they wanted to get rid of them
too; may H' repay all the neer-do-wells in kind.
As far as the supreme court; they are even worse than the Erev Rav in
the knesset, etc. because there are the five different kinds of Erev Rav, the
worst being the ER Amaleikim. Are you looking for kindness from them?
There was a time when most did not know or understand these facts, but
have become aware of this after all the sufferings of our people. They are
waking up (even if slowly) to truth; may it bring unity of our people under the
banner of Hashem & His holy Torah so major changes will be made.
