HaShem Has ‘Spoken'!

Mayim deluge, on a scale of a mini ‘mei Noach’,
cancelled the “First Night” in NY Metro Area
Jewish Succot Mitzvah!!

While Eretz Yisrael had a glorious
First Night in our Succot,
but are now under cloudy Chol Hamoed Skies!

HaShem has “Spoken”!

Update: read the comments, conflicting info.

Moadim L'Simcha!
Of course, it's Eretz Yisrael. Blessed be the Land!
But, it turns out the first night was raining, raining in buckets, but, H' loves His people,
and the second night and day turned out just beautiful, perfect in New York.
May every Yid merit to be in Yerushalayim Shanah Haba'ah for the next Sukkot!

In brooklyn, the rain stopped in time for people to be able to eat in their sukkahs on the first night.

Thanks for the update.
According to the video-photos it was a washout.
Maybe only certain families, as the photos showed completely destroyed Sukkot.
And the flooding from 7 inches in an hour!!?
What really went on?

NYC is a very big city with five boroughs. Some areas get hit much harder than other areas.
Long Island might get hit harder and sometimes Queens also. But, in Brooklyn, don't think
there were any overturned sukkot and the rain tapered by Fri. night in some areas and even dry and was comfortable enough to sit and eat. Weather was not cold and that helped but Shabbos
the weather was ultra beautiful, full sunshine. H' takes care. Blessed be Hashem!
