You can change the text for “yehudim”.You don’t have to dress in black and white if you don’t want to. R. Shimon was the Rab of all Am Israel, not just the Haredim.
Take a look at the Jews at Meron tonite. What are they wearing?
It’s 90 to 1 that they are Haredim, and they usually wear black and white.
BTW your moniker of the Chofetz Chaim is wearing B&W.
