The following is a response to a letter written to me by a friend about Dr. Baruch Goldstein, may Hashem avenge his blood.
About Dr. Goldstein; there are a number of versions and suggestions about details leading up to and including his death but the bigger picture as I see it is the following; The Arabs living closest to us are the worst of our enemies. When I say "the Arabs" and "enemies" one can not include each individual. Some are good people. But there were good Germans too, and probably good Babylonians, Egyptians, and even Amalek.. but they were not wars of individuals against other individuals. and they certainly did not treat us as such.
When I hear that my enemy falls I rejoice as did King David; as our enemies constantly do quite question. I the case of Dr. Goldstein, there was no question of "righteous gentiles " in the group of young men yelling "itbah al Yahud" in the ma'ara that evening and the next morning as the megillah was read..
Why the army allowed the blood-thirsty crowd in, just when they warned Dr. Goldstein to prepare for trouble and all signs on the Arab side pointed to a pogrom, is a question. I would not be surprised if it was a political arrangement created to make the opposition to Rabin and Oslo look illegitimate. It has happened before(Avishai Raviv and others).Whatever the case, on that day a number of my bitter enemies fell, and an angel of a Jew who, in his death saved our people. In his life, he chose to selflessly serve the Jews as the doctor of Hevron and vicinity instead of an office in Manhattan.
He is one of the heroes I had a chance to know. I also knew his most wonderful parents.His grave is restricted to a very dishonorable place,("beyond the fence" out of sight. This too is part of the struggle between our finest Jews and those who are selling us out to our enemies and who fear proud Jews more than they do the enemy.
But do not worry, as I assure my tourists..." you will never know my political opinions.."

By now, the author & anyone who has kept up with news about Israel, the Arabs might not have so hastily committed the atrocities on their own; there is always 'incitement', meaning they are incited by the real powers behind the dastardly deeds, such as in the 1929, etc. massacres, may H' avenge the blood of their holy victims, the British incited them. That is known to most. Sure it was the secret powers from within that might have had much to do about the horror.
