Beijing, Wuhan, El Al and a Possible Second Wave

Beijing now on “high alert” for possible coronavirus outbreak – close monitoring of infected individuals under way. (by Michael Alexander)
Despite authorities having reported positive developments in the country’s number of COVID-19 infections, tensions are running high in the Chinese capital of Beijing, as citizens ready themselves for another wave of coronavirus outbreaks. A new report by the Epoch Times revealed that this development came after Beijing declared the business district of Chaoyang a “high-risk region” on April 19 following a recent infection involving a family in the area. This status, however, has since been downgraded to “low-risk,” Xu Hejian, a spokesperson for the Beijing municipal government, said Wednesday, adding that there is no increase in COVID-19 cases in the Chinese capital, whether confirmed, suspected or asymptomatic. Restrictions still exist despite downgrade: Xu also mentioned that while Beijing has downgraded its level of emergency response to the coronavirus from first to the second tier, temperature checks and social distancing efforts will still be enforced within the city and its districts. theepochtimes (continued below “Beijing”).

El Al to operate 60 cargo flights from Wuhan to European destinations
The international airport in Wuhan reopened in early April after two months of closure, serving the Hubei province capital where the COVID-19 outbreak first originated. […] El Al will operate 60 humanitarian cargo flights from Wuhan, China, to several major European cities via Israel, the airline announced Monday. The Israeli flag carrier will initially operate 15 weekly cargo flights from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to Ben-Gurion Airport, followed by nine weekly flights to London, three to Paris and three to Frankfurt. Fauci Warns Bad Second Wave of Coronavirus Could Hit U.S.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease specialist and a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, warned that the U.S. "could be in for a bad fall" and a bad winter if it does not contain COVID-19 before then, according to CNBC. His assessment backed predictions ("There will be a surprise outbreak." -Dr Fauci, January 10, 2017 10 days before Trump's inauguration) from the Centers for Disease Control, which released a report that said a second wave could be worse because it may coincide with cold and flu season, according to USA Today. However, last week, President Trump seemed to refute that assessment, saying last week "it may not come back at all.” […] He added that how the fall and winter looks in the U.S. will depend on what types of preventive steps are put in place now. "If by that time we have put into place all of the countermeasures that you need to address this, we should do reasonably well," said Dr. Fauci, as CNN reported. "If we don't do that successfully, we could be in for a bad fall and a bad winter.” ecowatch [NOTE: you’ve heard of “slight of hand”, well now we have “slight of tongue” by this infectious disease specialist]

Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Itamar Grotto ... "I estimate there will be an increase in the number of patients following the removal of the restrictions, but I hope it will not be large. If we see a dramatic increase - we will discuss the matter and perhaps re-tighten the closure,” (touting the CDC)

NOTE *1918 FLU PANDEMIC (or the Coronavirus of 1919-2020) *Wikipedia:
  • In 1993, Claude Hannoun, the leading expert on the 1918 flu at the Pasteur Institute, asserted the precursor virus was likely to have come from China. It then mutated in the United States near Boston and from there spread to Brest, France, Europe's battlefields, the rest of Europe, and the rest of the world, with Allied soldiers and sailors as the main disseminators.
  • In 2014, historian Mark Humphries argued that the mobilization of 96,000 Chinese laborers to work behind the British and French lines might have been the source of the pandemic. Humphries, of the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, based his conclusions on newly unearthed records. He found archival evidence that a respiratory illness that struck northern China in November 1917 was identified a year later by Chinese health officials as identical to the Spanish flu.
  • A large factor in the worldwide occurrence of this flu was increased travel. Modern transportation systems made it easier for soldiers, sailors, and civilian travelers to spread the disease.[41] Another was lies and denial by governments, leaving the population ill-prepared to handle the outbreaks.

Beijing Continued:
As reported by the (Guardian: Second Wave, these new regulations include rules requiring residents to cover their mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing, not eat while traveling on public transport and wear masks whenever they are out in public. Restaurants and food establishments too will also be required to provide serving utensils to diners, and will also be encouraged — whenever possible — to serve separate portions, instead of the traditional shared family-style meals.

These regulations, which authorities said will come into force on June 1, were announced just before the start of the five-day May 1 holiday and a few weeks ahead of the rescheduled gathering of the National People’s Congress on May 22.

The new regulations are expected to add another layer to the Communist nation’s already stringent efforts to contain the coronavirus, which originated in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province.

Among the draconian and technology-dependent measures implemented by the country’s ruling party are checkpoints, cell phone applications, cell phone data tracking, remote-operated drones, artificial intelligence (AI) and facial-recognition surveillance technology.

Is that true, that they're allowing ElAl to fly to and from China? That would be the most ridiculous and dangerous move. The world is really topsy turvy. Think the slogan, the 'inmates are running the asylum' fits so well.

Yes, Moshe, it sounds so ridiculous but didn’t the MOSAD fly to various countries to bring back to Israel much needed CV supplies?! They must have flown on EL AL, no? Maybe they’re using the OZONE LIGHT to disinfect before and after each flight?
