But under the disguise of the erev Rav hidden were brought back to Eretz Yisrael and promised they would not be driven out again. This is the “custards last stand” and all the events being played out are our end of days Geulah. It is just so painful to see this. Of course, everything is m'Shamayim. That's what everything is about - 'tests'.I always understood that was the real reason, H' allowed Moshe to bring along the infamous erev rav, so at the end of days, they can be the ones to see to it that we can come back as a 'nation' to our EY (they were always working with the nations enabling them to hurt us and stop us from our Geulah). They've done their job and now it's time for them to go and the real Jews to take over, with the help of Hashem.
