Rabbi Weissman:

Another IDF excuse for allowing the massacre
Protecting the peasants was at the bottom of the list of priorities

Here's an English version. They admit knowing there was a serious possibility that there would be "a raid or abduction" or an "exceptionally large attack", but there was "a broad and absolute consensus among all military and intelligence bodies" to refrain from taking decisive action. Their cover story now is that they didn't want Hamas to discover how Israel found out about it.

As if not showing your cards are more important than preventing abductions and an exceptionally large attack.

And as if months of warnings and frantic eyewitness reports of lookouts on the border before and during the attack weren't enough to cover for the "intelligence sources".

Clearly, the proper response is to deny this or downplay it, demand that everyone join the IDF, and vote harder next time...

There is one possible cause of death that we can be certain will not be investigated.
