Shalom Pollack: November Touring Israel

Wednesday, November 14

SPECIAL:  Visit the hilltops in Samaria with Hashomer  Hachadash - Judea, Samaria

This organization provides volunteers to help guard Jewish property and livestock on isolated hilltop farms in the liberated territories of Judea and Samaria. These communities succeed in securing vast territories from the clutches of the encroaching "Palestinian Authority". ("The Fayad plan"). The Israeli authorities do not act to prevent this illegal and far-reaching land grab so individual special Jews step up to the national emergency.

The growing success of these young, isolated families on biblical hilltops has drawn the attention of the US government. The Biden administration has sanctioned the "Hashomer Hachadash, Judea—Samaria " and several of the young pioneers, including freezing their bank accounts worldwide, including Israel. Again, the Israeli government has not acted in defense of these illegal acts against their loyal citizens.

In conversation with the head of this organization, I understand that these beleaguered but determined young people are eager to share their stories and welcome moral support from their fellow Jews.

Therefore, in cooperation with the head of the organization, we will visit three hilltop farms in Samaria and have lunch at a local eatery,

The newly refurbished and expander "Dead Sea Museum" and a swim in the sea

Thursday, November 27

We will travel through the Genesis-like biblical landscapes of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea shore, passing Masada on our way to the southern tip of the sea where we will have an eye-opening, thorough guided tour in English of this magnificent multi-media facility.

After our tour, we will proceed to the beautiful Dead Sea beach and enjoy a relaxing experience at the full facility "separate" beach. Late November is the best time of the year for this getaway from chilly Jerusalem to the balmy and beautiful shores of the Dead Sea.  Normally crowds of tourists would be seen at these beaches in late November but due to the situation, it looks like we will have the place for ourselves.

We will meet at the Inbal hotel at 8:15 and return approx. 5:00 Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the beach.
