Jewish media, even media people believe is "Orthodox" Jewish media, is really just secular media written by Jews. Some of these Jews are marginally observant, and some of them put on a show of being strictly observant, but what they write about current events does not reflect the actual Torah perspective, or even the truth about what's happening.
Therefore, Jews who refrain from letting secular media into their homes because they recognize its dangers should do the same with Jewish media. In fact, they should be even MORE wary of Jewish media because the secular nature of this media is subtle, often couched in faux religiosity, and therefore more likely to lead observant Jews astray.

These points are all very helpful, but you cannot put everything in one basket.
It's also a learning process, that after a good # of years of reading & watching certain
articles and videos (meaning only religious ones), you get to know which ones are true
and reliable and which are just part of an agenda.
Rabbi Weissman is usually spot on with many subjects, but sometimes he throws everything together in one basket. Always rely on knowledge & common sense.
