The Jerusalem Faction' announces: Studies as usual

Despite the announcement from the Home Front Command cancelling all educational activity due to the security situation in Israel, the "Jerusalem Faction" (Hapeleg Hayerushalmi) announced Saturday evening that studies in their educational institutions would proceed as usual.

"To the administrators of the institutions: By the order of our teacher, the head of the yeshiva, the great Rabbi Asher Deutsch, studies in the educational institutions will be held as usual - across the country," a statement on their behalf read.

The Lithuanian community leader Rabbi Lando, on the other hand, announced the closing of educational institutions, and a statement on his behalf read: “For now, do not open the Torah study halls tomorrow morning.
