Yad Vashem cuts ties with US fundraising partner
The American Society for Yad Vashem has accused the Holocaust memorial's chairman Dani Dayan of attempting to "raid" an endowment.
Well just look and see who is being accused of financial irregularities at "Yad Vashem".
This , just a few days after the Israeli government accused Mr. Danny Dayan of administrative irregularities.
Are the walls closing in on the head of Yad Vashem?
Financial transparency and administrative protocol were not my personal battle with Mr. Dayan.
My struggle with the head of Yad Vashem was about battling lies and saving the honor of the Jewish people.
Mr. Dayan was a political appointee of the most Left wing government that Israel ever saw.
For the first time, it included the "Muslim Brotherhood" party. Dayan's party did not win enough seats to place him on a cushy Knesset seat in that coalition of convenience and deceit. so another cushy seat was found for him at Yad Vashem.
To make a long story short, I requested that Dayan return a famous photo of Hitler meeting with Husseini - the Jew hating Mufti of Jerusalem, as he planned the holocaust in Berlin.
In the previous ( pre 1993 Oslo) museum the photo was prominently displayed thus educating visitors to what the "father of the Palestinian people" was up to during the Holocaust.
After the Oslo pact with PLO chief Arafat ( a relative of Husseini) and the creation of a new narrative by the Israeli Left in favor of appeasement at all costs and a ""New Middle East'' , the photo of the Nazi hero of the Palestinians ( our sudden :peace partners``) became an embarrassment that had to go.
It was promptly removed from Yad vashem
Today if you seek that photo you won't find it
There is however a very small one of Husseini and Himmler in a dark corner that no one sees except experienced and determined tour guides like me.
Yad vashem can claim that Husseini is indeed at Yad Vashem, that he was not removed but no one sees him. Instead of the very large Hitler - Hisseini photo it has been replaced with a very small Himmler- Husseini one.
After Osle, Arabs can not be Nazis but only peace partners . It has been decreed. It is the new narrative. Accept it.
Dayan followed his orders.
I managed to have a meeting with him in which he denied that there ever was that photo in Yad vashem. The chutzpah!
False. I and many others attest to seeing it
He then threw me out of his office yelling, "I am in charge"!
I received an email from a retiring employee who ascertained that indeed he and his colleagues saw it numerous times.
What does it matter? In a world where war is peace and foe is friend then photos never existed.
My one man battle seemed to hit a brick wall. I was fighting a windmill that I could not defeat.
I have never put it out of my mind and when I guide in Yad Vashem I make sure that at least my tourists will learn what the other visitors are denied by Dayan and his Oslo deranged bosses.
I felt frustrated and alone
But now, perhaps now, forces stronger than me are beginning to close in on the corruption and lies.
Maybe the truth will be returned to yad Vashem
Maybe the New Year will bring truth and honor for our people and our history.
