Beshalach –
With Great Sorrow We Mourn The Loss of Our Dear Friend Gila Rollhause Z”L
GILA ROLLHAUSE ת נ צ ב ה! Our dearest friend sister and kind hearted soul has passed from this earth! You left us too young with so much more to do! 66 – the number that represents Mashiach ben Yosef – your whole life’s mission was building up Eretz Yisrael – a woman with a heart of gold who together with her dear husband , Michael built up the desolated forgotten places of the Shomron and enables hundreds of children to play in dignity in playgrounds built, not forgetting even the smallest details of individual children bringing them gifts always
Dearest Gila you will be buried tonight in the soil of Eretz yisrael on Tu B’Shvat ! The heavens cry ! May your neshama shine out the pain we feel – May it be elevated to the highest place next to the כסא הכבוד , your deserving seat . ברוך דיין אמת- שתהיה נשמתך

Enjoyed the two videos (shiurim, Parashiot Bo & B'Shalach)
But, cannot totally agree on the Erev Rav bit as the good Rabbi says.
H' told Moshe, firstly that it's not H's nation, but also Hashem told him
from the start that 'they are NOT sincere'. Why then did HE not say 'No' to
bringing them. I think it was for one important reason that being a mission that was that they the have the power and influence to bring us back to our Land where the nations of the world would accept us (that was 1948). Of course, we had to go through more than three millenia of tzarot to earn (blood, sweat & tears) and acquire our holy Eretz Yisrael. The Erev Rav were the ones who made that happen for us, but their goal was really to halt the coming of Moshiach and bringing upon us the tortures that we suffered through those millenia.
They were never to be trusted because they joined us so they could derive all the benefits of being a part of Am Yisrael and to sway the Jews away from the Torah, even before we received it, so in the end they can make a 'medina' wi of Jewish culture, not Torah, nor H' included. Of course, Hashem is in total control of everything. In the meantime, whoever was sincere (on an individual basis) would be able to convert and become a true part of Am Yisrael.
The Erev Rav part (one of the five parts of Erev Rav) who are the Amaleikim cannot do teshuva! Jewish conversion means one thing and which is an 'individual' conversion; someone who is truly sincere. We have many tzadikim in our history who were converts (Real Ones). That is the reason we never go out of our way to convert anyone. It has to be a person sincere from deep in their hearts and then he/she is called a 'ger tzedek'.

Erev Rav are most times very wealthy and in powerful positions, so they have the power and control of their mission.
Your comment was very good. And the AriZal covers why Moshe “adopted” them. But I cannot explain further.
Very interesting that you connect 1948 to them.
What do we do about them TODAY?
