Remember a few years ago? In Jerusalem, near the PM Residence?

Those PROTESTERS that kept people from sleeping at night; You know the ones who disgracefully chant and bang drums and blow horns [like those crusaders who attacked Jews in European shtetels? ... the same insanity] to disrupt the PM and everyone else. They’re at it again. Remember those riots called demonstrations against Netanyahu in Jerusalem a few years ago? We don’t forget their indecency. They’re at it again:

Tires burned as hundreds protest outside PM's residence

'Crime Minister' movement protests against government's proposed judicial reforms, accuse PM, ministers of 'destroying democracy.’

Several hundred people are protesting this evening (Thursday) on Gaza Street outside the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem against the government's proposed judicial reforms.

In accordance with the instructions of the police, the demonstrators have not gotten closer than 300 meters to the residence.

The demonstrators burned tires and lit torches.

The "Crime Minister" movement, which organized the demonstration, said: "Despite Ben-Gvir's attempts to use the police to sabotage the protest, today we made our first visit to Gaza Street, and this is only the beginning. We will continue to fight for our democratic right to protest against those who are destroying democracy. The coup d'état will encounter unprecedented civil resistance “.

The protestors eventually marched towards Paris Square. Physical confrontations broke out with right-wing counterprotesters. Police intervened and separated the groups. One right-wing activist who carried a sign calling the left-wing activists "traitors" was removed from the scene.

Left-wing protestors also blocked the Jerusalem light rail.

Ben Gvir reprimands police district commander after violent Jerusalem protest

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Thursday evening summoned the commander of the Jerusalem District of the Israel Police to reprimand him in the wake of what he described as "the loss of control of the police in the capital city to a group of anarchists", during a protest of left-wing activists led by the Crime Minister movement.

"The Jerusalem Police lost control over the anarchists. An incident in which burning tires were set on fire near the Prime Minister's Residence, Highway 1 was blocked, and light rail traffic was blocked - these are all extremely serious incidents in which police and security forces were on the scene, but were explicitly instructed not to enforce the law and not to confront the rioters," said Ben Gvir.

In response, Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai issued a statement in which he said, "The Commissioner backs the Jerusalem District, its commanders and its chief, Superintendent Doron Turgeman, for standing firm and exercising discretion in dealing with the protest and the subsequent breach of order. In addition, the Commissioner regrets the fact that the investigation of the matter is carried out in a public manner while the police forces are operating in the field, and not through an *operational investigation which is carried out at the end of the activity, as is customary.”

We remember the ADHD young man who was beaten up; and we remember all the Haredim beaten up and dragged in the street! The National Security Minister applies a no-nonsense approach to derelictions. Especially so when in the elections and via telephone survey, respondents named “security” as No. 1 concern. We’re tired of Jews being murdered. These anarchists need to wise up and change their tune!
