Hypocrisy, again, appealing to the "non-extremest”, "center and quasi-left” in his “managing the government”. He bounces back and forth to win support from “ foreign govts”.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recruited senior Israeli security officials for his bid to rein in nationalist members of his coalition government, Ma’ariv reported Tuesday morning.
Citing officials privy to the details of Netanyahu’s conversations with top security brass, the report claims that the prime minister has placed ongoing pressure on senior security officials to challenge “the extremists in the government,” with a particular emphasis on National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir (Otzma Yehudit) and Minister in the Defense Ministry and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionist Party).
The officials quoted in the report said Netanyahu has repeatedly asked security chiefs to “get [Smotrich and Ben-Gvir] to ease up” on major security matters.
Netanyahu is said to have made multiple phone calls to the respective directors of every major Israeli security and intelligence organization – including the Mossad, the Shin Bet, and the IDF – to dissuade Smotrich and Ben-Gvir from pursuing policies Netanyahu opposes.
One official quoted anonymously in the report said that while this is not the first time Netanyahu has pressured ministers to his Right to toe the line, it is the first time he has relied on security chiefs to so.
“There were also extremist elements in previous governments established by Netanyahu, but Netanyahu knew how to handle them himself, or did so via political alliances in the Cabinet.”
“This time there is a new reality. Netanyahu is helpless against the demands made by Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, and is trying with all his strength to enlist the support and ability to convince [them] in order to induce them to drop their demands, their ideas, their places, and their policies that they are trying to implement.

No surprise. Netanyahu is a globalist himself; he belongs to the CFR. He is a very well groomed politician and no matter what face he puts on, he owes his allegiance to his handlers, r'l. He has to remember that he is a Yehudi first and foremost and owes his allegiance to Hashem, Am Yisrael, Torat Yisrael and the Land of Yisrael. If the new ministers, Ben Gvir & Smotrich, are true full-fledged Yehudim, they need to stand strong, against all pressure, thereby giving chizuk to our people and Hashem will bless them with success.

I think they probably expected some of this behavior. This is the first time the State has no smolanim in the knesset and having no power in the knesset is too much for these smolanim to take and with their constituencies in Tel Aviv, etc. who are so far away from any Yiddishkeit, it's an uphill battle for them and a separate tzorah for the good guys to deal with.
Mostly, these radicals are part of the globalists and never dreamed they would have this problem. It's hard for them to accept there is a G-D.
The ones who do not want to let go of their power is the supreme court who are real reshaim. H' is in Control.
Arutz7 puts out a lot of false news. They run with propaganda stories from unnamed sources that ultimately turn out to be false. It doesn't even make sense that the PM would use security agencies, which are inferior to the ministerial positions, to "put pressure on them." You've seen no response from Gvir and Smotrich because the story is false. There are many games being played and lots of propaganda. We can't react to everything that's written.
Actually he has put into positions of security above them. Police commissioner, defense minister, and head of the IDF are all being utilized to apply pressure and impede Itamar and Betzalel, who have already hinted to leaving the govt.

Betzalel refused to meet with Defense Minister and the Chief of IDF together. He said he didn’t want to bring the IDF into politics. [this was arranged to force Betzalel to conform to their ideology of dealing w/arabs}
Jerusalem Police Commissioner is always poised to counter Itamar, and protects HIS policemen even when they do dastardly acts.
Netanyahu has pitted Betzalel and Itamar against the DS hardliner ideology of dealing with the pales.. The only reason they are in the govt. is bc Netanyahu needed the majority, and I believe he was shocked when no leftists were included.
to me, This is a cat vs mouse tactic from Shamayim.
If itamar and betzalel cannot do the jobs their election supporters want from them, this is a keg waiting for ignition.

Yes, I've seen all this. But, as I said, there are lots of things going on behind the scenes, many deliberate leaks to the media, all of which is meant to distract while something bigger is being cooked up. I think we can't react to everything we read. I've seen the reports and yes Gallant refuses to give Smotrich power. I was also reported in the media last week that Bibi ordered Gallant to give Smotrich power. So, you see, one day we're fed this story and the next day a different story, etc. I agree, Bibi was stuck with Smotrich and Gvir, but they and the orthodox parties are a block. And by the way, you'll see that in spite of the visits to Deri's house, he is still out of a job and there has been my move by Bibi to return him. He used that dismissal by bagatz as a reason to support their efforts to overhaul the judicial system. Deri was once invited to the cabinet meeting as an observer, but the AG said he cannot be there. So, he's ...who knows where. My point is that the religious block sticks together. If Bibi dumps Smotrich or Gvir he'll not only lose his coalition, but he'll lose the support of his sacrificial lamb too. In the meantime, Smotrich is doing a great job with his other responsibilities and no one is complaining about it except Lapid who hates everyone, including himself. The legalization of the 9 yishuvim will go forward and new construction will be allowed there. This is also Smotrich's doing. So, it's good to take a step back and wait to see what the next news cycle brings us. Personally, I think it could be that the balagan is deliberate to distract the entire world from our upcoming attack on Iran.

We have to take out the reactor. There's a small window of time, and it's closing. That's why we've had all these drills lately, including new jets learning how to refuel in the air. The consequences of inaction are much greater than what we'll face if we wait any longer. I'm not so sure about that dioxin cloud, but I don't expect to see it here in Israel. If there's a 3rd war it will because of Biden. He announced that they plan to station US troops permanently in Poland. That would be a big game changer and will not sit well with Putin. BTW, did you hear that outright lie he said... "in my country every house has a Ukrainian flag hanging outside..." what a bunch of .... how does he get away with these lies?
