Today’s Recipe is … Please pray for us!

This is an otherwise very cheerful young lady that makes all kinds of delicious recipes. I have watched her videos from time to time. But today she has a different message for everyone:

I know all of you are wondering about the earthquake, Turkey and us… I must say we are deeply saddened by what happened in our country. There have been left tremendous damage, loss and sorrow to our country, families, children, animals and all living things… Me, my team and our families are safe and well. However, I wish could say the same for those in the region affected by the earthquake. Ten (10) cities in the south eastern part of Turkiye, which make almost a European country such as Germany in size, have been brutally impacted by this disaster. It's time to unite and do our best to give a hand to those severely affected by mother nature's catastrophe. Having witnessed such horrific scenes in our mind and hearts, our first priority is to quickly bind up our wounds and help survivors of the earthquake disaster stay safe and sane. Turkey has unfortunately limited sources of basic human needs including bread to eat, clean water to drink, blankets to warm up now… We cannot always deliver those donated materials and properties to the area safely since the roads and routes are temporarily closed because of heavy damage. We, as a team, continue to work hard on what can be done concerning social responsibility with our own means, our collaborative brands and other humanitarian aid organizations that can be permanent and sustainable for those people in the region. We will hopefully overcome this situation somehow, however, we need your support coming from other countries all around the world. TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER. Please keep praying for us!
