Senior haredi rabbi: 'What would have happened if Netanyahu's son were abducted?'

Rabbi Dov Lando, the senior rabbi of the Lithuanian (non-hassidic) haredi community, met with family members of hostages being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, prayed with them, and discussed the efforts to free their loved ones.
On Thursday, Mishpacha Magazine will publish footage from the meeting during which Rabbi Lando was asked about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's apprehensions about advancing a deal that could lead to a security threat.
"I'm not a political person. Maybe if they had abducted the Prime Minister's son, what would have he done?" Rabbi Lando pondered.
This was the first time the senior rabbi discussed the issue.

WHY WOULD IT NEVER HAPPEN TO ANY OF THE POLITICIANS OR IDF STAFF EITHER FROM AMERICA OR ISRAEL ? THINK ? WHO IS PAYING WHO TO DO WHAT ? TO WHOM ? WHY ?
PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO MANY QUESTIONS !!!
JUST FOLLOW ORDERS !!!! REMEMBER THEY ONCE SAID YOU WERE JUST ON YOUR WAY TO A SHOWER !!
Why would the Rabbi say such a thing. The real law was not to allow all this time to pass and they had the obligation to try and get the hostages out but at a specific time and then they had no choice but to finish the war. That would be the Jewish way. So, why would the Rabbi insert that question.
Maybe bc it should have been a threat and done in th3 beginning of their entering Gaza, and if no response they should have commenced an aerial bombardment!
