From the Desert to The Jordan
Across the Jordan to Eretz Yisrael
To the Beis HaMikdash
Into Golus Bavel
Into Golus Persia
To the Beis HaMikdash
Golus Yavan
Golus Edom
To Eretz Yisrael and
Golus Palestinian
The Golus of Distance from Hashem
Pidyon Shevuim from the Inner Golus via Teshuva
To the Third and Final Beis HaMikdash and the Geula
* As explained by Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi Shlit”a in one of his recent videos.
** The concept of “eight” is: In kabbalistic teachings, the number seven symbolizes perfection – perfection that is achievable via natural means – while eight symbolizes that which is beyond nature and its (inherently limited) perfection. Also of interest is the concept that the number eight is above nature, which is represented by the number seven. It is therefore associated with an awareness of the miraculous. The number eight on its side is the same as the symbol for infinity that is also above nature. (Chabad)
