The problem is not only removing students from their Torah learning, who are suited to stay. Even they can do national service, increasing the number of teachers in schools. The problem is not going into the army to work as a clerk part-time. The problem is going into THIS army run by THIS form of non-Jewish government, with a few Jewish sprinkles on it.
One has to keep in mind, you are not dealing with "Jews". These scoundrels are Erev Rav, Erev Rav. There's no one to deal with.
