Shalom chaverim,
I invite you to a beautiful and inspiring springtime "Valley" tour.
Tuesday, May 13
We begin with a ride through the Judean Desert to the Jordan Valley. where we shall visit a pioneer family protecting large tracts of land for the Jewish people.
Pioneer families like these are the nemesis of the Palestine Authority, the EU, the State Department, Haaretz newspaper, and the "Jewish" section of the Shabak.
We will bring our gratitude and love for these young heroes.
We shall continue to the Beit She'an Valley and the town of Beit She'an.
There, we will tour the most impressive archeological site in the Middle East - ancient Beit Shean (Scythopolis).
This magnificent Roman-Byzantine city was the Jewel of the East for centuries before it was destroyed in seconds by an earthquake.
After millennia of slumber below the ruins, it is exposed in all its splendor.
Before and after the Romans and Byzantines, Beit She'an was the site of biblical and Jewish history, of which we shall learn.
We will proceed to Kibbutz Sede Eliyahu (established in 1939 by religious pioneers from Germany).
As the world's largest producer of beneficial insects that organically eliminate pests, we will have a guided tour of their unique agriculture and learn how a little religious kibbutz has become a blessing to mankind.
We shall have a yummy dairy lunch at the kibbutz boutique restaurant.
Departure from the Inbal hotel at 8:30

320 shekels, including lunch
