DID YOU FEEL AS IF YOU LEFT MITZRAYIM AFTER THE PESACH SEDER?

I just finished reading a fascinating book about life under the harshness of Mitzrayim, called THE LAST SLAVE. One can find this in our local book stores. Highly recommended.

I chose it hoping to empathize with the generations of Yaakov. And to feel as if one was there, and also brought out from the “Barzel”.

We were a badly psychologically and physically bruised people, but the one fifth who were redeemed held a glimmer of hope, as we trudged the path to Sinai. Our God was moulding a rag tag people into His vision of a Nation Holy to Him.

It described very graphically what the Israelite slaves (families) went thru (most of the pages), the finally arrival of Moshe Rabbeinu and their redemption. Who merited to hold fast to the Mesorah of the Avos and the Benei Yaakov.

I did so to seek comparisons to what we are going thru (in this completion of our redemption in these end days) under this latter day ‘ Erev Rav’, and the psychological war we are in.

As a People and Nation we have been through many refining goluses and now brought back to where we began our trek for the final phase of that long ago redemption.

The Erev Rav have robbed today’s Israelites of their true heritage and purpose in this world, the world of action where we are to repair ourselves.
