In last night's Torah class we discussed practical lessons we can glean from the episode of the golden calf and related teachings from Chazal.

Chazal teach that every time the Jewish people get punished, we get a little extra to pay back for the golden calf. If we apply the lessons from this class, hopefully we can get the remaining debt canceled.
