The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, published a short time ago (Monday) his response to today’s events regarding the legal reform and the possible halting of the legislation, as Netanyahu is expected to announce today.
From Levin: "As a member of the Likud faction, I will respect any decision that Prime Minister Netanyahu makes regarding legal reform legislative procedures. This is with the knowledge that a situation in which a person who is honest in his eyes will do may immediately lead to the fall of the government and the collapse of the Likud.”
"We must all make an effort to stabilize the government and the coalition. We all have the duty NOT to make the mistake that was made at the time with the overthrow of the Shamir government, a mistake that led to the disaster of the Oslo Accords." added
