Anti-govt protests: Protesters chain themselves together, block road leading to ministries

'We'll block the revolution with our bodies,' protest group says in statement.

As the anti-government protests continue, on Tuesday, members of a group calling itself "Blocking the Revolution" chained themselves one to another and blocked the road leading to the buildings housing the Ministries of Finance, Interior, and Economy on Bank of Israel Street in Jerusalem.

The human blockade has so far prevented ministry employees from reaching their places of work as protesters focus on creating disruption. Police officers are at the scene and are working to open the blockade and move the protesters onto the sidewalk. Orders have been issued to the protesters telling them to move away, and they have been warned that failure to comply will lead to forcible evacuation. In response to the orders, the protesters sat down on the road. A spokesman for the protesters issued a statement saying:

"We came here today to block access to government offices, with a clear message to deliver:

‘If you don't start working for the public, we won't let you work at all. The 37th government of the state of Israel is not dealing with a single one of the issues that really matter to the public. It's not dealing with the cost-of-living crisis, it's not solving the crisis in education, it's not doing anything to rehabilitate the health service - what is it doing instead? It's legalizing institutional corruption, harming the freedom of the press, setting the country on fire, and neutering the independence of the judiciary. Ministers have forgotten that their job is to serve the public and not the other way around. Instead of working for us, we are working for them.

"This is a wake-up call. Start dealing with the genuine problems of Israeli citizens - or your government will lose its legitimacy. Stop rushing headlong toward messianic dictatorship and start establishing a true democracy. Until that happens, we will continue to block the revolution with our bodies. We are absolutely determined to prevent the destruction of our future, and we won't stop until the revolution is halted."

Doubt if they will give up to dialogue with the 'Jews'. They have been working about a hundred years to create a 'Jewish cultural' state to intermingle with the rest of the world. Their ideaology is pure erev rav and they will not stop until they are shown they have no choice. How and what that will be, I don't know, but we know H' is in total control and this is all part of the Geulah process. H' Help us to get through this with chesed.
These radicals have no neshamot nor busha.
