 Mar 6, 2024 Joseph was the son of Jacob, aka Israel, and Rachel. Rachel was the favorite wife of Jacob who had 12 sons from four different women! The tensions between the females spilled over to affect the relations between their children. Joseph was both a favorite son and a half-rejected sibling. The feeling of both entitlement and rejection concerning Joseph resulted in complexes involving real and imagined offences. This is still to be seen in the Descendants of Joseph.
