YWN: Recently, a fascinating question was posed to the Sar HaTorah, Rav Chaim Kanievsky, about Israeli citizens that are currently abroad but have one opportunity to return temporarily to Eretz Yisroel.Should they use that opportunity to come back to Eretz Yisroel for the Sukkos holiday or should they come back just for the Israeli elections?

Litzman Refers to Lapid as a “Contagious Disease” in a Radio Interview
YWN Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman was interviewed by KAN Reshet Bet Radio explaining that to date, Yahadut Hatorah would not join a coalition with Benny Gantz as long as he is partnered with Yair Lapid. In the past, things between the chareidim and Gantz were okay, but things have changed, and today, Litzman is angry at Benny Gantz too and he will not be in a coalition with someone who is friends with Lapid, who he labeled a “contagious disease”. He added, “anyone with a hate for religion – I believe that there is anti-Semitism”.MK Moshe Gafni: Not a Disaster if We’re in the Opposition
arutz sheva: UTJ MK Moshe Gafni said on "Meet the Press" on Friday: "I want to be in the coalition, but it won't be a disaster if we'll be in the opposition. I was in the opposition in the previous term. If we were under pressure then we would be zigzagging like everyone else and say now we support someone else, or now we're ready to sit together with Yair Lapid - we're not saying that."
"We say our position, our truth," he explained. "Anyone who accepts these things - we request that they vote for us. We don't feel pressured. It's possible that there will be a government without haredim. At times, I'm even pleased with the idea - I like to be in the opposition. We were in such a situation when [Netanyahu] made a coalition with Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett and left us outside. We lived through it, nothing happened."
