It seems that there are many things at work here, they are using Ye to get to Trump, they are using Ye to label the Trump supporters as nazis, They are using Ye to shutdown twitter, but Elon stepped in and [preemptively] shut it down.

Speaking in regards to how he was concerned that he wouldn’t be able to get into Mar-a-Lago, Fuentes revealed that Ye had sent a text message to Nick Gravante that was meant for Fuentes. Gravante is a lawyer that is representing former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg.
Gravante called Trump to warn him it was a setup.
