PURIM and the Second Amendment
In America, J. Biden (a new Haman) wants to undue the 2nd Amendment and take away all the guns. K. Harris is calling for 'Commonsense' Gun Control … She Means Confiscation. The first act of a dictator when he/she rises to power is to collect the weapons from the citizens. After that the edicts of control cometh forth. Are we seeing a “conquered nation," and a future warning to the Jews?
In the time of PURIM the Jews had weapons. If they did not the story would have been much different.
Haman sought to kill the Jews but things reversed at the last moment, after the Jews did Teshuva . . . . “In the capital of Shushan the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men, … “The Jews in Shushan gathered together again on the fourteenth day of Adar and they killed three hundred men in Shushan but laid not a hand on the spoils … “They gained relief from their enemies and killed seventy-five thousand of their foes but laid not a hand on the spoils.

Again, you're spot on! But, this decree will affect the whole population. The upside to the gun problem is that Americans are not like the Europeans. The guns are as important to many in the heartland and South as their very own lives and there must be almost a billion guns which in, no way, would they ever relinquish, B'H. Self defense is a Jewish/Torah concept and Americans were free from the start of their nationhood and that is already in their DNA. Of course, they have allowed so many from diverse peoples to immigrate who might not have that in their very DNA, so that might cause some problems, but still the American psyche will, hopefully, win. The more draconian decrees, the more it will be a losing battle for those who want to enslave others, because eventually people have to wake up. Let's pray Moshiach is closer than we even think Amen!
