In a meeting with the Judea Samaria Council (Yesha) regional heads, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that the White House has backtracked on its original plan to approve unilateral annexation. He added that it is also possible that in the end, they won’t give the green light for the annexation of parts of Judea and Samaria Kann reports.

According to those who attended the meetings, Netanyahu told the settler leaders that “If we get authorization to assert sovereignty, we’ll have to give something in return.” That thing is an agreement in principle to a Palestinian state the report states.

The report adds that in the meeting, settler leaders tried to separate the issue of annexation and enabling a Palestinian state however that attempt failed.

Citing a robust collection of federal and state case law, a New York State Bar Association task-force group on Thursday said it should be mandatory for all Americans to have a COVID-19 vaccination, when one is available, including those who won’t want it for “religious, philosophical or personal reasons.”

The one and only exception, says the bar association group’s report—which calls for legislation to be enacted—should be for people who shouldn’t medically have the vaccination, as directed by their doctors.

Making a legally backed argument on pages 60-63 of a newly released report on the “unique” legal and ethical issues brought forward by the global pandemic, the Health Law Section of the bar association writes that “some Americans may push back on the COVID-19 vaccination for religious, philosophical or personal reasons,” but “for the sake of public health, mandatory vaccinations for COVID-19 should be required in the United States as soon as it is available.”

“Mandatory vaccinations are supported by the authority of the state police power when the vaccinations are necessary to protect the health of the community,” the group writes in the report, while citing the 1905 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Jacobson v. Massachusetts.

Pointing to several constitutional law-focused cases, including the Supreme Court’s 1990 decision in Cruzan v. Director, Missouri Dept. of Health, the group also says, “Constitutional challenges under the religious freedom clause under the First Amendment and under the substantive due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment have failed, when the individual interests are not strong enough to outweigh the public benefit.”

The 84-page report—covering topics ranging from the call to adopt uniform standards for allocation of personal protective equipment and ventilators when resources are scarce, to “action steps” to help fight against health-care system inequities affecting the nation’s poorest and most “vulnerable populations”—was produced by a 13-member task force appointed by the Health Law Section. On June 13, a governing body of the bar association will vote on whether, as a full organization, to adopt the task force and health group’s recommendations, including the stance on COVID-19 vaccinations.

“As the [COVID-19] crisis began to unfold,” says the report, bar association president Hank Greenberg asked the section to prepare a report on COVID-19-related legal issues. The task force, staffed by all lawyers and led by Mary Beth Quaranta Morrissey—an attorney who also holds a master’s degree in public health and a PhD in gerontological social work research, according to her LinkedIn page—met twice weekly from March 13 to April 24. The group consulted with medicine and bioethics experts “on issues of concern,” it added.

In its section on legal and ethical issues surrounding the potential controversy over which Americans should be vaccinated for COVID-19, assuming a workable vaccine is developed, the health group, citing state case law, wrote that New York’s courts “have found that religious, personal or ‘unsupported … medical literature’” are not persuasive.

The report also said that “healthcare workers and parents of unvaccinated children have unsuccessfully challenged compulsory vaccination on administrative law grounds—questioning the NYS [New York State] and NYC Department of Health’s authority in mandating flu and measles vaccinations, as well as challenging the regulations as arbitrary and capricious.”

“The courts found the policies mandating that healthcare workers be vaccinated for influenza, and children vaccinated for measles during an outbreak, were not arbitrary and capricious and the regulations were promulgated under proper authority,” says the report. It also notes that “on June 13, 2019, the religious exemption for vaccinating school-attending children was repealed.”

The report states, “The gravity of COVID-19 presents compelling justification for State legislatures and Congress to mandate a COVID-19 vaccination.”

In an “Executive Summary” section, the report notes that “over 22,000 New Yorkers have lost their lives to date, based upon New York State Department of Health data, … reported through the period ending May 13, 2020.”

It adds that “in addressing the legal and ethical issues confronted by the health system, we must not forget the human face of COVID-19, the persons, families and communities affected by the pandemic, and the unspeakable assaults on the fabric of human life—loved ones dying alone in sterile hospital rooms, unemployment and food insecurity, the loss of sociality, and depths of bereavement and despair unknown in generations, at least in the western world.”

The report is dedicated, it says, to “New York’s health care workers and workers in service jobs on the front lines of the pandemic.”

Vaccine Troubling Results

COVID-19 Vaccines: Continuing the Long History of Medical Experimentation on Children
By the Children’s Health Defense Team

May 22 was a banner day for the encroaching global vaccine police state, with three announcements from the UK signaling what we can surely also expect on this side of the Atlantic. First, the entities rushing to develop an experimental chimpanzee-derived COVID-19 injection—the conflict-of-interest-ridden Oxford Vaccine Group, Oxford’s Jenner Institute and pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca—announced the imminent expansion of their clinical trials to a wider age range, including children aged 5 to 12 years, despite “troubling results” when they administered the vaccine to rhesus monkeys.

Endorsing the scale-up of the experiment to more than 30,000 eventual participants, including a trial to evaluate the vaccine in young children, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) immediately awarded a generous “$1.2 billion cash injection” for the UK effort (provided without any input from economically strapped American taxpayers). Then, to cap the day off, a UK Court of Appeal ominously ruled that local authorities can vaccinate children in foster care against their parents’ wishes, deploying the argument that “it is in the best interests of children to be immunised unless there is a specific reason for them not to be.”

Anyone who has been paying a modicum of attention knows where the vaccine cartel wants this to end up—with a mandated injection that will sneak high-risk gene-altering nanoparticles, Trojan-horse-style, into our children, and eventually, into all of us. However, the use of children as a wedge to implement mandates for adults—the age group most affected by COVID-19—would deny children the equal protection of law because the vaccine will not be primarily for their benefit.

A first step on this slippery slope will be to persuade unwitting parents to offer up their children on the altar of COVID-19 vaccine experimentation. It is unclear how the researchers will go about convincing parents to take this step, particularly because the most recent evidence—a systematic review of 45 scientific papers and letters—confirms that children account for only 1% to 5% of diagnosed COVID-19 cases and experience a milder course of disease, a better prognosis than adults, and death “extremely” rarely. Subjecting children to the hazards of clinical trials for a risk this low is perverse.

A trail of destruction
The COVID-19 imbroglio is far from the first time that children—unable to provide their own informed consent—have been roped into medical experiments. In 2003, Vera Sharav of the Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP) described how the use of children and adolescents in “ever more speculative experiments” has frequently put youth “at risk of harm for profit,” particularly following passage in 1997 of the ironically named Better Pharmaceuticals for Children Act (part of the FDA Modernization Act). According to Sharav, the Act launched a “backdoor” and an industry-friendly reshaping of the very notions of “potential benefit” and “minimal risk,” effectively depriving children of more protective federal regulations and opening up widespread opportunities for children’s exploitation; some at the FDA even suggested “that for research purposes, death may be classified as a ‘minimal risk.’” When Sharav served on the Children’s Workgroup of the National Human Research Protection Advisory Committee, she was the sole committee member to object to the increased use of children in high-risk medical experiments.

Sharav’s website includes many examples illustrating the sordid underbelly of global and domestic childhood vaccine programs. In fact, it is hard not to construe the entire zero-liability childhood vaccination program as a mass experiment—one that willingly exposes children to risk in exchange for profit. U.S. children receive dozens of doses of vaccines that have never been evaluated in combination, nor tested against an inert placebo, nor meaningfully assessed for individual or synergistic toxicity, nor compared against protective health measures used by unvaccinated children. Unfortunately, lack of awareness and the widespread failure to report vaccine adverse events have allowed the damage caused by this ongoing experiment to remain invisible to many. On the other hand, some vaccines have produced such disastrous outcomes that the devastation has been impossible to ignore. To cite only a handful of U.S. examples:

• In the 1870s, doctors reported a doubling of smallpox mortality after the introduction of smallpox vaccination.
• Beginning in 1955, researchers engaged in two decades of experimentation on mentally disabled children at New York’s Willowbrook State School, intentionally infecting children with hepatitis to further vaccine development.
• In the mid-1950s, regulators fast-tracked the Salk polio vaccine after a scant two hours of deliberation, leading to dramatic spikes in polio; most infamously, over 200,000 unsuspecting children received a defective batch of the vaccine (made by Cutter Laboratories), resulting in at least 40,000 cases of polio and 10 deaths.
• In the 1960s, researchers administered an untried vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) to infants and young children, stimulating an “unbalanced immune response” that “potentiated” disease, sent many to the hospital and killed two.
• Also in the 1960s, administration of the Sabin polio vaccine exposed millions of young Americans to the cancer-causing viral contaminant SV40.
• In 1976, public health workers gave an experimental swine flu vaccine to one-quarter of the U.S. population, including many children—the vaccine killed at least 25 individuals and left hundreds with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Thirty years later, ignoring this toll of injuries and death, the then-director of the CDC approvingly stated, “it is better to err on the side of overreaction than underreaction.”
• In the late 1990s, the FDA licensed a rotavirus vaccine for infants that it knew in advance was linked to a painful and potentially fatal intestinal complication called intussusception. Though it withdrew the vaccine in 1999, the agency then allowed two other rotavirus vaccines to remain on the market; both are known to not only have similar intussusception risks but to be contaminated with foreign DNA from pig viruses.

Vaccine programs’ insistence on pertussis vaccination has led to record-high levels of pertussis, largely in vaccinated children, and the emergence of vaccine-resistant strains.

In 2019, the FDA approved a dengue vaccine for U.S. children, undaunted by its track record in the Philippines, where the vaccine triggered hundreds of pediatric hospitalizations and deaths.

A line in the sand?
Will American parents finally draw a line in the sand with COVID-19 vaccines? Currently, about half of U.S. adults are leery of COVID-19 vaccination, with 70% of potential refusers saying that they are concerned about safety. Could this be because over half of all American children now live with at least one chronic illness, and their beleaguered families have learned the hard way that vaccines are a major contributor?

Some American parents may also know enough to read between the lines of recent upbeat press releases about COVID-19 vaccines. In the case of the experimental Oxford vaccine that researchers now want to rush into young children’s bodies, AstraZeneca’s CEO has chosen not to dwell on the fact that the vaccine resulted in across-the-board illness in monkeys. Instead, unable to restrain his excitement about the infusion of over a billion in HHS cash, he describes the accelerated vaccine development process as “a fantastic experience” and proclaims, “I’ve never seen anything move that fast.”

Meanwhile, vigilant parents may also have noticed that the headline-grabbing Moderna vaccine just produced severe illness in four out of 45 participants (9%). One of these, a 29-year-old, described feeling “more sick than he ever has before”; fainting after an urgent care visit, “his girlfriend caught him and kept his head from hitting the floor.”

Vera Sharav noted back in 2003 that the pharmaceutical industry enjoys higher profit margins and “greater government protections, subsidies, and tax incentives than any other industry,” and these remarks ring all the more true in the COVID-19 era. For example, early on when only 11 Americans had been confirmed to have the illness—February 4th—HHS was already hastening to assure would-be vaccine manufacturers that they would have full protection from liability. Is it any wonder that by early April, 115 COVID-19 vaccines had entered the pipeline or that the U.S. government had given the pharmaceutical industry the green light to “profit handsomely” from the government’s lavish public investments? Laying the legal groundwork for these guaranteed profits, a soon-to-be-published commentary in the Journal of Law and the Biosciences includes this chilling statement:

[D]epending on the features of the vaccine, there may be good ethical grounds to mandate a COVID-19 vaccine, as long as the risk is low, and access is readily available. Our jurisprudence suggests states will face few, if any, legal barriers in doing so, and the past political fights brought on by anti-vaccination groups are likely to be significantly weakened by the unparaled [sic] intensity of the COVID-19 crisis.

The caveat in the preceding quote—“as long as the risk is low”—is unlikely to figure prominently in PR efforts designed to persuade parents to sign their children over to COVID-19 vaccine trials and mandates. Regarding the former, parents would do well to heed Sharav’s conclusions about experiments involving children: The primary beneficiaries are not the children but rather the pharmaceutical industry and its “partners in academia.”

Although vaccine scientists like to take advantage of parents’ altruism by telling them that their children’s participation in vaccine trials is “necessary” and “important for public health,” Sharav’s research clearly indicates that “Children, even more than adults, have endured severe adverse effects in clinical trials.”

In a recent interview, *Rabbi Daniel Asor warned that “the United States and China will go to war against each other.” He explains this war was predicted by the secret tzaddik … **Rabbi (Michel) Yehuda Lefkovitch. Rabbi Lefkovitch predicted that the third World War will start between China and America over 20 years ago before the tensions were at the level that they are today. According to Rabbi Lefkovitch, this war will be the Biblical war of Gog and Magog.

“Russia will join China in the war” Rabbi Asor added. At the same time, he points to Rabbi Levi Sa’adia Nachamani who predicted 20 years ago that Iran will wage a war against Israel and will receive military assistance from North Korea.

Rabbi Asor warns that “there will be a lot of incitement blaming Israel for all of the world’s problems.” The reason is because the Arab league will also wage a propaganda war against Israel” he explains and at a certain point they’ll gather the world against Israel as written in Zechariah.

After typing the above, I turned to the Jerusalem Post and saw this headline. After reading the article I found the proposal just a foretaste (or a V'NaHaFochHu) of an even larger situation: the eventual rescue of Jews from foreign lands. As Israeli citizens, living in a foreign land, they are Israeli citizens worthy of being flown to Eretz Yisrael in such an event.

The coronavirus epidemic has swept the planet, society, the individual and the economy into its drama. This drama has indiscriminately seized all nations, north and south, rich and poor, developed and developing. The implications for their populations differ from country to country, and it will be up to each citizen to form an opinion of the specific government’s decisions.

The Israeli government has been considered one of the best at confronting the epidemic, with a low death toll per million residents. The economic support provided to prevent Israeli society from collapsing will certainly be a topic for future evaluation. But Israel confronts one matter that the rest of the world does not.

This crisis has destabilized the position of the Law of Return as a cornerstone of the Zionist endeavor. Israelis were permitted to enter Israel even if they had no homes there, but Diaspora Jews…  No!

Israel, the state of the Jewish people, where Jews throughout the world believe that they will always be welcomed in time of danger, did not agree to grant them refuge during this deadly epidemic.

I recall that in July 2005, when prime minister Ariel Sharon called for the Jews of France to come on aliyah in response to an upsurge in antisemitism, there were many who considered his speech an insult and an interference in France’s affairs. It even led to a diplomatic confrontation between the countries. As president of the European Jewish Congress at that time, I initiated a discussion among Diaspora Jewry with an emphasis on the topic of dual loyalty, sensitive as it was.

Some people observed that they felt torn in two directions by the unique situation, and others considered it a dual disloyalty that must be resolved by choosing. Our feeling of belonging to the Children of Israel could not and should not be actualized only by aliyah, because since the creation of Israel in 1948, only those Jews who have settled in Israel have all automatically obtained citizenship. And even if the great majority of Diaspora Jews have two loves, two homelands – the one where they reside and Israel – that double appreciation ultimately comes to resemble a rupture more than a rapport.

This fact of psychology must be addressed in terms of administration and of practical politics. If Israel is the country of all Jews, why should that double affection not express itself in the form of a right to dual citizenship without people having to leave their current homes?

There are three advantages to that solution:

The first advantage concerns the relationship between Diaspora Jews and the countries where they reside. There will be an end to accusations of hypocrisy based on impaired solidarity and dual loyalty. A French Jew is constantly suspected of facing a choice between his land of citizenship and his land of spiritual heritage. An American Israeli has dual citizenship, which is simpler, clearer, easier and fairer overall than dual loyalty.

The second advantage concerns the relationship between the Diaspora Jews and their land of heritage. That solidarity, that affection gripping the hearts of Jews who feel attached to Israel, will finally be printed on paper. And it will be more than a mere symbol!

The third advantage concerns the relationship between the Diaspora Jews and themselves. No longer will a British Jew need to decide whether to root for Israel or England in a soccer match. Instead, equal pride will go into singing “Hatikvah” and “God Save the Queen.”

Dual citizenship will bring the clarity and peace of mind that is often missing among Diaspora Jews.
The proposal that Israeli citizenship become easy for such Jews to acquire, and not conditional on aliyah, is one that I had the privilege of raising with Sharon some days before his health failed.
I reminded him that if the Jewish people has survived for centuries, it is principally thanks to a unique pillar of support, once the synagogue but today the State of Israel.

He showed genuine interest, and we had agreed to continue the discussion, but unfortunately...
Realizing that new challenges await the Jewish people, and valuing its unity, the new government should reaffirm the principles of Zionism by granting Israeli citizenship to every Jew who desires it.

Police will not be able to break into private homes, and children won’t be microchipped, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear on Monday during his Likud faction meeting. “It is important to dispel some of the fake news that has appeared in the media,” Netanyahu said. “I have now spoken with the public security minister, and we have unequivocally agreed that we will not allow police to break into the homes of Israeli citizens without a warrant.

“We will find the right balance between the need to enforce isolation guidelines and the need to protect the rights of individuals and the civil liberties of Israeli citizens,” he continued. “We are aware that in the public there is a thought that we will unravel this balance. We have not done so until now, and we will not do so in the future.”

Mainstream and social media erupted late Sunday after the government released a memorandum of the Coronavirus Bill that, if passed, would turn into law a set of emergency coronavirus regulations. The draft appeared to be infringing on individual rights, including allowing police forces unlimited authority and prohibiting demonstrations.

The legislation is meant to grant the government special powers to deal with a predicted emergency second wave of the coronavirus for 45 days, with the Knesset able to extend the emergency period every 30 days for up to 10 months.

“This memorandum proposed to authorize the government, in primary legislation, to enact regulations for active restrictions on the population in the private and public spheres in a variety of areas in life, in accordance with the areas currently regulated by the Emergency Regulations,” a synopsis of the memorandum reads on the government’s website.

The draft appeared to grant powers to the government to decide upon new emergency measures without Knesset approval.

The bill will be brought to its first votes next week. It is expected to be challenged in the Supreme Court.

Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz told his Blue and White faction on Sunday that the Justice Ministry was working on redefining the government’s emergency measures for the fight against the coronavirus.

“We will make sure that the directives will not be draconian,” Gantz said. “Police will not conduct intrusive searches. The right to protest will not be harmed, nor will the courts, and there will be proper parliamentary oversight.”

He said the directives would be set for a limited period of time. New legislation would be drafted that will have to meet criteria to ensure that the right to privacy will be maintained.

“There will be a significant improvement in the rules and directives from what was in place before,” he said. “I heard that the public is worried that we will be going to dark places. We will not let individual rights be harmed.” In a statement he released earlier, Gantz said “Israeli democracy is stronger that the coronavirus, and it will stay that way.”

Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn, a member of Gantz’s Blue and White Party, sent a similar message on Twitter Sunday, confirming that, "In the coming days, we will continue our hard work to ensure that the legislation is effective but proportionate.”

Netanyahu told Likud that “we have an integrated mission – to restore discipline to stop the geometrical spread of the disease and to open the economy and add jobs. We will find the right balance between the need to enforce isolation guidelines and the need to maintain individual austerity.”

But he did stress the need to enforce regulations: “The virus doesn't spread on its own,” the prime minister said. “It is carried by humans and transmitted from person to person by sneezing or coughing or contact. As the distance decreases and contact increases, the virus grows and spreads.”

Finally, he also used the platform to “dispel an urban legend that we intend to plant censors in children.”

The Prime Minister also said that he is looking into “technologies that haven’t been activated yet.” He continued saying “Technologies that will be legal that we operate. It means perhaps, new methods that we’re working on. I spoke with our head of technology to search for various technologies that Israel excels at.”

There would be a sensor that warns children, all people but starting with children, like a vehicle whereby if you get to close to it, it makes noise. A buzzer if you will. For instance, every person, every kid – I want it on kids first – would have a sensor that would sound an alarm when you get too close, like the ones on cars," the prime minister said. "It will be hard to do it to more than a million schoolchildren who return to their educational institutions in order to ensure one student sits at the distance of two meters from another. It is fictional and dangerous," cyber resilience expert Einat Meron told Ynet.
"Theoretically, I get the idea behind it," she said. "But although such distance-sensitive microchips exist in vehicles, it is different in humans." According to Meron, "a beeping sound telling me I got close to someone is not enough. Who says it will change anything? I would have gotten closer either way.” The expert added that "the actual issue is the enforcement, and here everything changes." Meron told Ynet that "microchipping children will not pass any test – both practically and legally." Similar to Meron's notion that notifying citizens on their distance will not affect their actions, many fear the state would make use of the information available from the sensors.
"If the information with the kids' location is uploaded to the internet, a pedophile with some cyber knowledge may invade the system and stalk them outside their schools, follow them and distribute the information on other platforms," Meron said. "Can the state take responsibility for that?” The Prime Minister's Office responded to the report, telling Ynet Netanyahu's suggestion "is not to be implemented through databases, but through simple technology notifying [the citizens] about their distance. It is a voluntary option that is designed to help children keep their distance, like Mobileye with vehicles.” The office added that the prime minister's suggestion is "an idea that may help maintain social distancing, and there will not be any violation of privacy."

Israel is likely to reject Chinese bids for the building of 5G networks in the country, due to U.S. pressure and because of security concerns, Israel’s Channel 12 reported on Tuesday.

This comes as President Trump’s Ambassador to Israel David Friedman pressured Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel and chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Zvi Hauser in a meeting on Tuesday to block Chinese efforts to gain a foothold in Israel’s 5G cellular network. The government has to decide whether to allow the Chinese to construct Israel’s 5G network, and in another deal, whether or not to allow China’s CK Hutchison to take over Israel’s Partner Communications Company, according to a report by Haaretz. Hutchison is waiting for the decision by Israel’s regulator.

Friedman’s message to the Israelis came on the same day that the government announced that Israeli company IDE Technologies beat the Chinese firm for the tender to build what is expected to be the world’s largest seawater desalinization plant—worth $1.5 billion—at Nahal Sorek, near the Palmachim air base, south of Tel Aviv. On Monday, Robert Blair, US President Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff, flew to Ottawa for an important meeting with Canadian officials. He came with a warning – do not install equipment from Huawei – a Chinese telecom company - in Canada’s next-generation 5G network. Blair reportedly shared with Canadian intelligence officials how Huawei equipment is used by China to covertly access mobile phone networks through “backdoors” which allow the Chinese to spy on those governments. He warned that if Canada went ahead with Huawei, America would not be able to continue sharing sensitive intelligence information with its neighbor to the north.

Blair’s message echoed a similar warning that Richard Grenell, the US ambassador to Germany and the newly-appointed acting director of National Intelligence, had made last month. Grenell revealed that Trump had called him from Air Force One and asked that he make clear to Germany and other countries “that any nation who chooses to use an untrustworthy 5G vendor[s] will jeopardize our ability to share intelligence and information at the highest level.”

Coronavirus never went away, but it can be kept under control

The spike in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Israel over the weekend – centering mainly around students from Jerusalem’s Gymnasia Rehavia – is cause for concern but not for panic.
From the outset of the coronavirus crisis, the policy was to “flatten the curve” – to keep the numbers down to prevent overwhelming the health system.

The lockdown in Israel was successful in that sense. Although it came at a huge economic – and psychological – cost, keeping people at home managed to stop the numbers spiraling out of control. It also bought the country time, which was well used to obtain more equipment, train staff and learn more about this very tricky virus. Hence, Israel today is not in the same position it was in March, at the beginning of the outbreak in the country. We are no longer in a crisis situation.

Now we must learn how to cope with living with it. The focus now needs to be on identifying and isolating cases quickly. Former defense minister Naftali Bennett, who has favored greater testing all along, tweeted on Sunday: “The prime minister declared at the time, under my urging, that the target should be 30,000 tests a day. This was not realized or implemented.”
