Based on the sichas of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach, the final Redemption is different from yetzias Mitzrayim. The Redemption comes through our actions. HaShem helps but the emphasis is on our thoughts, speech, and above all, deeds. Adding in goodness and kindness let’s HaShem know WE ARE READY.
Basha, thank you. However, I believe that like the Malach of Eisav, HaShem controls him and Mashiach, and HE determines when HE will take us out of this Golus, and into the next (8th) millennium, the 7th being a sabbath and a cleansing). HaShem is above everything.

In those days there was no king in Israel and everyone did what was right in their own eyes.

Almost everyone thinks they know what is right and wrong, following their own imagination instead of following what HaShem said is right and wrong.

The world is now in chaos and confusion because it was foretold, but the natural reason being, the wicked have again arisen to war against the Creator and make themselves gods. These are the reincarnations of Nimrod and his other reincarnations from throughout past history, such as the maniacal tyranny of 85 years ago. We are again being tested to see if we will awake from our present stupor and realize that this is a war against the Creator and His creations. Those who still don't see the truth are fast asleep and the others complicit in the evil if they still do not want to understand. There are the righteous among the nations such as the ones above in this post who see clearly what is happening and trying to fight against it and, hopefully, to wake up most of humanity and to succeed, so the 'Redemption' of our people and of mankind will not be as severe as has been prophecized by our holy Prophets. The bad does not have to happen, but the good 'must' happen. We pray that the good will overturn the evil so redemption will come with chesed/mercy. Amen!
