"ATLAS" which is an acronym for Asteroid Terrestrial-Impact Last Alert System ("ATLAS"); a robotic astronomical survey and early warning system based in Hawaii, optimized for detecting smaller near-Earth objects a few weeks to a few days before they impact Earth.
ATLAS Comet 2019/Y4 trajectory is a 6,000-year orbit around the Sun that would take it beyond the outer edges of the solar system – about 57 billion miles from the Sun. As Atlas nears our Sun, its predicted the ATLAS comet will break up as it nears Mercury's orbital path.

What to watch out for come May 24 to August 2020 - Atlas will begin perihelion between the Sun and Mercury and will be visible to the human naked eye. I will video image the Atlas Comet trajectory as it passes Mercury, the Sun and our planet Earth through Atlas's coma debris tail.

Between January 2013 and December 2100 the closest approach of Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) to Earth happens on Sat May 23 2020 at a distance of 0.78113215 Astronomical Units, or 116,855,706 kilometers : 72, 610,769 miles. In comparison the distances, from the moon to the earth is 238,900 miles and it takes the speed of light to reach the moon from the earth in just about one second.

Its coma will balloon to estimated diameter of 730 KM / 453,600.97 miles, twice the size of Jupiter.
If Jupiter were moved to the Moon’s distance it would span about 20 degrees or 40 times the apparent diameter of the Full Moon. Atlas's coma (the debris field) is twice the size of Jupiter, now imagine Atlas doing a U turn around earth... we are going 4x4 mudding.

Individuals who go mudding generally race through these areas, spinning their tires and throwing mud.

Estimated Diameter of Atlas Nucleus
Having a 173,762 mile diameter dust cloud coma, (twice the size of Jupiter) I am estimating the nucleus (the solid mass inside the coma) of Atlas to be 28 miles across..
