Local residents and community leaders have expressed worries about potential disruptions and safety issues.
Community organizations are advising residents to be vigilant and prepare for possible road closures and traffic disturbances. A meeting was held on Sunday with community leaders, law enforcement, and representatives from local schools to discuss safety protocols and emergency measures.
Meanwhile, NY State Assemblyman and former NYC Councilman Kalman Yeger took to X and wrote “Hamas terrorists plan to storm our community on Tuesday. NYPD can and must stop this.
We’ve seen these violent thugs storm other Jewish neighborhoods throughout NYC. PD knows their tactics and must stop these terrorists.” […] https://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/general/2365359/boro-park-palestinians-planning-protest-for-tuesday-community-on-edge.html

Wow.. this is a REALLY bad idea. This has the makings of a pogrom masquerading as freedom of expression.
This same organization PAL-AWDA held a vigil for Ismail Haniyeh at 7114 5th Ave. Brooklyn, NY this past August.
And we have a FIRST AMMENDMENT right to have a huge 100.000 man TEHILLIM RALLY ready on the move to outnumber surround and drown them out. Have a club hidden under your jacket (for kavana purposes. ahem) -all for purposes of, ahem, first amendment protected prayer.
NYPD is more likely to prevent the antisemites from protesting, and cancelling the demonstration, if NYPD expects a VIOLENT counter protest and confrontation to result. A demonstration which is a threat to public safety is allowed to be cancelled by Police, despite issues of “free speech”. We don’t have to actually commit violence, Just raising the threat of violence coming from “uncontrolable elements” within our ranks, gives NYPD permission to stop our enemies from demonstrating.
Kind of quiet from Chuck Schumer’s office about this, no? Somebody should call him. …..[you mean kapo]
If these real estate events, were handled in a surreptitious manner, and not openly advertised, those disruptive Gaza protesters would not readily find out about such gatherings, and would not come into our communities. The same thing occurred in L.A., and in Teaneck, NJ.
